Dear Santa,
Its for the very first time I am writing you a letter on behalf of my daughter for I got to know of this day just today through the Google Dongle and Hamley's #letterstosanta video posted by Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
As I am just making a begining in knowing all the festivals and festivities of diverse regions,religions and cultures,I shall remember to post you next year on time.haha..sorry..hohoho:)).
But I am feeling very good in communicating with you or with my perception of you as seen in pictures and folklores that I read out to my kid.Your legend is traced to a monk named St. Nicholas of Turkey,known for his generosity and kindness.The name Santa Claus evolved from Sinter Klaas,a shortened form of Sint Nikolaas(Dutch for Saint Nicholas) while you delivered presents to Swiss and German children as Christkind or Kris Kringle.
In the movie Polar Express,you live in North Pole..(I haven't finished the movie yet which I am waiting to conclude with my four year old soon).Last year I learned the song, "It's the season",which I sing with my kid very often.
Dear Santa,as a mother,wife and daughter,I just wish for a world of kindness and humanity.I just wish a world safe for children,elders and weaker.The gifts that you give and we exchange be the gift of compassion,bonhomie,empathy and tolerance.
Thankyou Santa for adding cheers,goodwill and faith in our lives...Eagerly waiting to welcome you in our heart's abode.
